Homework Week #13
Week
#13: (12-1-03) Exam #4/Food Presentations
-
Print out the
Food Presentation Form then
complete by hand. You will give me this before you present, so make
sure you have your own notes if you need them for the actual presentation.
You might also consider telling the class how many calories are in a serving
of your food, grams of protein, grams of fat, or anything thing else that
would make your presentation more interesting and informative. How
much does it cost? Where can you buy it? Is it hard to prepare?
Be creative--have fun!
-
Food Safety! We will do the
presentations at the beginning of class. Make sure you properly cool
or heat and cook the food as needed. If you need serving utensils bring them
i.e. toothpicks, cups, small plates, etc. I'll bring some napkins and
clean up stuff. Think about how you will distribute your food because
this is also a part of your grade! You need to use your food
safety/hygiene knowledge from our class as we have spent time discussing
these issues and putting them into some of your handouts.
-
There is no more assigned reading
but you need to be going over all of your exams. Final exam questions
will be mostly on the first three exams. Some will be on the food
presentations and final lectures so make sure to go over your notes this
last couple of weeks too.
