Senior Fitness Training with Ron Jones
"It's never too late to take care of your body...I don't care if you're 90 years
old--it's never too late." I have a lot of experience working with Senior populations and really enjoy this exercise setting. I also have a special certification from American College of Sports Medicine for "Older Adults & Exercise." My seniors get with the program and move! It is my goal to keep them active, vibrant, and doing what they want to do each day. I want seniors to age with dignity and independence, play with their grandchildren, go golfing, travel, hike, garden, and do whatever else they desire for active daily activities. While my senior programs can be challenging, I am also good at adjusting and modifying so "everyone" has a place to start with success and safety. As long as your doctor has released you for exercise, I'm willing to help you. I will assess what you can safely do today then move forward a little each week at your pace. Seniors can improve general fitness, strength, and balance! If you don't believe me then listen to 89 year old Jack LaLanne! I can train seniors individually or in small group settings. Small groups are nice if you have friends you'd like to exercise with plus this helps to share the costs. Research shows that seniors do better with exercise when they are in group settings with the social support of their peers. I have all the equipment you need and can come to your home, retirement center, clubhouse, or the neighborhood park. Also, I teach my seniors more than exercise--I teach them how to Stay Well by providing them the latest in health and fitness education related to senior populations!
